Welcome to Calaia Farm

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Calaia Farm's website and services. By accessing this website and using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

By accessing and using Calaia Farm's facilities, website, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or visit our farm.

Farm Visit Policies

1 Booking and Reservations

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website or authorized booking channels
  • A minimum of 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation
  • Full payment is due 48 hours before your scheduled visit
  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund
  • No-shows will forfeit their deposit

2 Visitor Guidelines

  • All visitors must check-in at the reception area upon arrival
  • Valid ID is required for all adult visitors
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Proper attire and closed-toe shoes are recommended for farm activities
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas and designated outdoor zones
  • Alcohol consumption is only allowed in designated areas

3 Health and Safety

  • Visitors with known allergies should inform staff upon arrival
  • First aid services are available on-site
  • Emergency medical services can be arranged if needed
  • Visitors participate in activities at their own risk
  • Calaia Farm is not responsible for lost or stolen items

Check-in and Check-out

  • Standard check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out are available upon request and subject to additional charges
  • Luggage storage is available for guests checking out before standard check-in or arriving after hours
  • A valid credit card is required at check-in for incidentals
  • All guests must sign the accommodation agreement before occupancy

  • Maximum occupancy limits must be respected as listed in your booking confirmation
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Daily housekeeping is available upon request
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to the accommodation beyond normal wear
  • Pets are not permitted unless specifically arranged in advance

  • Cancellations 48-72 hours before arrival: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before arrival: No refund
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

Calaia Farm maintains comprehensive liability insurance coverage for farm operations and guest activities. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure guest safety, participants engage in farm activities at their own risk.

Limitations of Liability

  • Calaia Farm is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur during farm activities unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
  • Guests assume all risks associated with farm activities and natural hazards inherent to outdoor environments
  • We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during your visit

Excessive Alcohol

Intoxication that impairs judgment or endangers others

Property Damage

Intentional or reckless damage to farm facilities and equipment

Harassment & Violence

Physical or verbal abuse toward staff, guests, or animals

Unauthorized Entry

Access to restricted areas without permission

Littering

Leaving trash or waste in non-designated areas

Wildlife Disturbance

Feeding, touching, or disturbing farm animals and native wildlife

Violations may result in immediate removal from the premises and forfeiture of all fees without refund. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.

Photography and Media

Consent for Promotional Use

During your visit, Calaia Farm may take photographs or videos for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes. By visiting our farm, you consent to this photography. However, if you prefer not to be photographed, please inform our staff immediately.

  • Photos may be used on our website, social media, and promotional materials
  • You have the right to request photo deletion or non-use at any time
  • We will not identify you by name without your explicit permission

Commercial Photography

Professional or commercial photography and videography for publication or commercial purposes requires prior written permission from Calaia Farm management. This includes photography for blogs, e-books, commercial websites, or any profit-generating activities.

Drone Photography: The use of drones for any photography or videography at Calaia Farm is strictly prohibited without explicit written authorization from farm management.

These terms and conditions are provided on an "as is" basis. Calaia Farm does not guarantee that all services, facilities, or activities will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Guests use our facilities and services at their own risk. We recommend purchasing travel and trip cancellation insurance for your protection.

Authority

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Batangas province for any legal disputes arising from or relating to these terms.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

We may modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted to the website so that you are always informed of our current policies and guidelines. Updated versions will include the date of the revision so that you can check when the Terms were last amended.
